Title: Rainy Day
Text: “I really need 4 hours of beach to forget what I had endured,
but unfortunately it was raining, then I went into a beauty center and I made a solar lamp,
but I could not sleep”

The picture was taken in the mountains of canary islands in 2010.
The wake of devastation from the forestfire in 2007 still was visible.

title: he slowly rose from drowsiness
short description: The photo’s composition is constructed by distinct levels: two subjects caught in two different positions, the first represents the night and the sense of anxiety typical of insomnia, the other is upright and represents the first daylights, the getting up after a long night and gives back that sense of anomaly, of the waking. The set is a wood, which underlines daylight’s desire with its unnatural reality.

Title: MY NIGHT MY DAY
These photos are part of a series I shoot just woke up after a sleepless
night because of dreams that run after me.
A sort of forced wake.
The sheets, the bedspread, the pillows drawn shapes that gave back my
dream and my troubled sleep to my gaze.
I’m those creases.
My day is thus influenced by my night, inevitably.
Definitively MY NIGHT MY DAY.

Title: “Slipped into an Intimacy”.
Since last September my Grandmother has won her battle against a serious illness. This memory is an intense part of my childhood that I wanted to live again with her after almost 20 years.
