Title : Beyond Paradise
« Beyond Paradise » is a work about a place near Brasília where a sect made it’s headquarters since the 50’s. The name of the sect is « The valley of the dawn ». It’s doctrine is a kind of a mix of many different religions and spiritual beliefs. A whole little city was constructed by the believers. They live in self-suffiency in this area, geologically rich in crystal quartz. Many people believe that this quartz concentration on the ground is a magnet for good energy.

Title : Purgatorio ad Arco
This photo has been taken in Naples, in front of the church Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Anime del Purgatorio ad Arco. I’ve been touched by the contrast with the green palm and, of course, by the esoteric figure of the skull.

Title : TV MARIA
This image is from the series « Salento 10’ »
« Born in Switzerland from Italian immigrant parents, I still live with these two identities. However, this work does not speak directly about me, but it is a tribute to my family living in Castiglione, a small village in southern Italy, more exactly in the Salento area of Puglia.
I started this project two years ago, trying to show the importance of religion with people and in their homes. This project has the desire to show affection with humility that I have with my family, and the commitment to my roots. »
